Project Overview
Driven by innovation, productivity and efficiency, the automated warehousing sector has continued to grow exponentially. Having been awarded various projects across an existing site in Victoria, Jarlam was once again provided with the opportunity to showcase our expertise and professionalism, and partner with this global leader to undertake the mechanical installation of Promove Conveyors.
As part of the new equipment installation Jarlam was engaged to complete the mechanical installation of over 400m of Promove Conveyors.
Solution
Given our extensive experience and expertise in the mechanical installation of new equipment and machinery relocations, Jarlam was engaged to complete the mechanical installation of over 400m of new conveyor equipment.
The Promove conveyor equipment consisted of installing several types of conveyors that included straight roller conveyors, chain conveyors, turntables and many more.
Given the critical nature of this section and the variance in onsite conditions versus the initial layouts, Jarlam were not only provided the opportunity to install the new equipment but to also complete the necessary conveyor modifications. Due to time constraints and with costs in mind, Jarlam was able to provide high quality modifications on site, all whilst using our fully equipped site boxes and mechanical installation equipment.
Throughout the process, our project team was able to identify areas of opportunity to ensure a precise and accurate mechanical installation. All conveyors were mechanically installed in compliance with OEM guidelines and were within all tolerance specifications.
During the project, our Jarlam project team were able to successfully navigate site access challenges and limited installation space by collaborating with the client and other contractors to ensure a smooth and streamlined installation.
As experts in the installation of new equipment, Jarlam was able to provide a full team of experienced fabricators, fitters and project managers that were able to collaborate with our partners and stakeholders to deliver a precise and successful installation of the equipment.
Backed up by our workshop team and mechanical engineers, Jarlam was able to further assist our client by designing and fabricating specialised items that were damaged whilst in transit or were simply missing from the allocated shipment. By offering this service for new equipment installations Jarlam was able to fabricate these items in a timely manner to avoid time delays on site.

In drawing from our more than a decade of experience in the mechanical installation of new equipment, Jarlam was able to provide a highly experienced team with an extensive background in the installation of equipment. All conveyors were installed to the highest of quality, within tolerances, in line with OEM specifications and most importantly in a manner that ensures the ongoing efficiency and operation of equipment.
