Client Background

  • Our client for this project is a global leader and one of the largest bakery groups in the world.
  • They market frozen and fresh bakery products for leading supermarkets around the globe, in particular here in Australia.

Project Overview

This project involved the installation of a multilevel Dough Resting Cooling Tunnel line that was imported from Rademaker in Germany.

Solution

Jarlam Australia provided a turnkey arrangement for this project, which was later complemented by a specialist Jarlam team that was brought onto the project to liaise with OEM technicians who were unable to enter the country.

As the Project Management team on site, Jarlam was responsible for the completion of the project from end to end. As part of our service, the Jarlam Project Team determined the sequence of equipment installation, cost v budget analysis and developed project timelines for the completion of the project.

As part of the Project Management on site Jarlam worked very closely with the site team, which included developing schedules that worked around the existing production requirements at the site. Through the use of technology our team was also able to engage with overseas OEM technicians to ensure all equipment was installed as per Rademaker specifications.

During this project our Design Engineers and Workshop team were able to complement site requirements with the fabrication of custom-made food grade stainless steel products to provide the finishing touches to the Rademaker equipment.

Benefits / Outcome

We are so proud to say that this project really complemented and highlighted the services that we at Jarlam have to offer. The project was administered and managed by our Project Team and backed up superbly by design engineers and a workshop that was ready to provide high quality fabrication services when called upon and to meet the tight deadlines required.

As with any imported equipment there is always the potential for damage during transit into the country, our team onsite and in the workshop were able to report and document on damage, but most importantly were able to provide the solution for rectification.

In terms of our onsite team, their expertise and skills in their trade were highly sought after and utilised during this project. The end result was a tribute to the entire team on site and off course our friends overseas in Germany at Rademaker. We wish our client and their fantastic team every success with their new line, it was a pleasure working with you and may it bring you the prosperity that you hope for. Thanks again and we look forward to working with you in the future.
