Melbourne, VIC — Global confectionery giant Cadbury has officially opened a new $130 million distribution centre in Truganina, making it the largest facility of its kind for parent company Mondelez International, anywhere in the world.

Spanning an impressive 47,000 square metres — twice the size of the MCG — the new state of the art hub is set to become a cornerstone of Cadbury’s Australian operations. The investment has created 200 new jobs, with nearly 90% of employees living locally, providing a significant boost for Melbourne’s western suburbs.

A Sweet Boost for Australian Manufacturing

From Cadbury Dairy Milk to The Natural Confectionery Company, Oreo, and Ritz, more than $500,000 worth of products will move through the Truganina centre daily. Mondelez says the facility will significantly enhance supply chain efficiency and support continued innovation across its brands.
